Pocket Change Jinglers....There was a guy standing outside my cube talking to someone else (not me), and for the entire 15 minute (or so) discussion he was jingling the change in his pocket. It was starting to get annoying, but then I started thinking about it...who, now a days, carries change? Doesn't everyone use a debit card? I haven't used change in a long time. Heck, even vending machines take cards, and there aren't any pay phones anymore. I guess there are still some people out there that actually use cash for stuff...maybe lunch? Somehow, I even manage to have a bunch of change in the bottom of my purse, and when my husband gets home he empties his pockets and...there it is...more change! So it goes in our change "jar" (really, an old CD spindle cover upside down) that we keep on the bathroom counter, which gets emptied every year or so. I take it to one of those change counters machines at the grocery store. I guess it will just remain a mystery to me, where all this change comes from! Oh well, he finished his conversation and is no longer standing in earshot, so I can go about my day now. That's just my 2 cents! :)
